A client has asked me to deliver a set of seminars in Tennessee. I’ll be training staff on MS Access – a technical topic that’s outside what I normally teach, but is still a lot of fun (at least the way I teach it!). I had a rather rude introduction to Access in the mid-1990’s, and learned quite a bit about how NOT to build a database from that experience. To help some clients over the years, I became proficient in Access (and a bit of a fiend about doing it right), and I bring that to my clients both as a consultant and (as in this set of seminars) occasionally to help introduce people to Access so they don’t go through what I did!
